About The Center
“Growing Confident Kids Every Day.”
The Conneaut Youth Center provides a safe, welcoming environment where students can learn, explore, and grow all year long. We offer engaging summer camps filled with fun, friendships, and hands-on learning, along with exciting field trips that broaden our students’ experiences beyond the center. Our programs include arts and crafts, cooking and sewing classes, gardening projects, and student-led plays that build creativity and confidence. We host special guest speakers who inspire and educate, and we are expanding horizons by learning German and American Sign Language. Students also gain valuable STEM and entrepreneurial skills by using our We Create laser engraver to design and produce items to sell. In addition, we offer a small Bible study for those who wish to participate, providing an opportunity for spiritual growth and meaningful discussion. Everything we do is focused on building life skills, encouraging teamwork, and helping young people discover their talents and potential.

Our Story
The Conneaut Youth Center was founded in 2022 by Ann Wiley, who envisioned a welcoming place where young people could gather for a nutritious meal, develop important life skills, and receive meaningful spiritual guidance. Inspired by a youth center she encountered during her time in Florida, Ann saw firsthand the powerful impact a safe, supportive environment could have on children and teens. She brought that vision back to our community with a heart for service and a commitment to creating a space where every child feels valued, encouraged, and equipped to grow into their fullest potential.
